Hanuman Garhi Temple

It is a sacred site where devotees believe Lord Hanuman resided in a cave and protected Ayodhya, also known as Ramkot, the birthplace of Lord Rama. It’s a custom to visit Hanuman Garhi and venerate Lord Hanuman before worshipping Lord Rama, as Hanumanis considered an ardent devotee of Rama. The temple is a symbol of devotion and vigilance, representing Lord Hanuman’s unwavering loyalty and strength. The temple houses a golden idol of Lord Hanuman, as well as a golden idol of Mata Anjani, the mother of Lord Hanuman, with Bal Hanuman in her lap. The verses of the Hanuman Chalisa are inscribed on the temple walls.

Kanak Bhawan

It is associated with the wedding of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, a central event in the Ramayana. It’s believed to have been gifted to Sita by Queen Kaikeyi, Rama’s stepmother, after their marriage. The temple is considered their private palace, reflecting the divine union of the revered deities.
